Research Analyst

Stephens looks to recruit highly skilled and field tested research analysts.  Research analysts look to provide industry specific company coverage to both institutional clients and sales using grass roots research techniques.

Our research analysts are the cornerstone of the research process, providing value-added support including:

  • Developing quantitative  and analytical opinions on  industry and company specific concepts and ideas
  • Preparing financial models for companies under coverage
  • Forming relationships with senior management teams
  • Writing company and industry specific research reports
  • Communicating ideas to the institutional sales force and institutional clients

We look for the following knowledge and skills:

  • Driven personalities with a good work ethic and strong self starter skills
  • Leadership skills and the ability to apply that to a team setting
  • Excellent analytical, written and communication skills
  • MBA graduate or CFA certified with a good amount of relevant work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Powerpoint

The Interview Process

First round interviews consist of a set of interviews with members from different areas of our capital markets group.  Interviews generally occur at our Little Rock office. Offers are made shortly after the interview process.
