Mr. Gunderman joined Stephens in 2006. In February
2007, he was named co-Head of Investment Banking. Since
joining Stephens, he has helped advise on numerous
transactions including Alltel's $28 billion take-private and
Windstream's $1.2 billion acquisition of Iowa Telecom and $780m
acquisition of KDL. Prior to joining Stephens, Mr.
Gunderman was a member of the Communications Investment
Banking Group at Lehman Brothers, where he worked on various
strategic transactions and financings including AT&T's $80
billion acquisition of Bellsouth, SBC's $22 billion acquisition of
AT&T, US West's $48 billion merger with Qwest, Carlyle's $1.6
billion acquisition of Hawaiian Telcom and Williams
Communications' $800 million spin-off from Williams Companies. He
previously worked at KPMG Peat Marwick as a CPA. Mr.
Gunderman holds a BA from Hendrix College and an MBA from
Yale.
