Ms. Schmidt has extensive experience
advising middle market companies on strategic and financing options
as well as principal investing expertise. Prior to joining
Stephens, Ms. Schmidt was at Industrial Renaissance, a middle
market private equity fund, focusing on special situations, roll
ups, and operational improvements. She was also at SMH
Capital, specializing in corporate finance and transactional
advisory services for middle market companies in the retail,
apparel, consumer products and restaurant sectors. Before SMH
Capital, Ms. Schmidt was at CSFB / DLJ where she executed equity
and debt offerings, raised private capital and structured merger
and acquisition transactions for start-up, middle-market and
Fortune 500 companies. Ms. Schmidt graduated as a Regent
Scholar from the Walter A. Haas School of Business at the
University of California at Berkeley.
