Born in Ireland and educated in
England, Mr. Burke arrived in the United States in 1953
and became a proud citizen of the U.S. five years later. He was
employed by two major property and casualty insurance companies as
an underwriter, sales representative and regional sales manager in
that order. He has taught CPCU and risk management classes and has
been a speaker at numerous industry meetings including utility
groups in particular and various RIMS regional and national
meetings. Mr. Burke is recognized for his expertise with
various groups, in particular electric and gas utilities, gasoline
marketers, truckers and the medical profession. He has been a
broker since the early 1970s and dedicated a majority of his time
over the last 25 years to the utility industry. Pat attended New
York College of Insurance and achieved CPCU and ARM designations in
1967 and 1976, respectively.
